VERY PLEASED. I spent weeks trying to locate an electric fireplace insert.I have a difficult size fireplace of only 34 inches long. The standard is 36. i tried many websites and big box stores. The next size to fit was 30 however the height was tiny leaving a huge gap top to bottom. I then came across Yankee Fireplace. I called on Friday and spoke to Robin. much to my surprise she had one that might work with the frame. I went on Saturday and Robin showed me the size I needed. I purchased the frame that would extend the dimensions. It looks great. The flame looks natural and has many settings. I did have to add a small strip of wood to cove the gap but i expected to as i have a strange size. I also feel I paid a very reasonable price for what i got and was in line with the "deals" on the internet. Where the size was so critical I felt a lot safer dealing with a local merchant that has been around for years. I am very pleased and it looks great. The installation was simple and I could not be happier.

With fear in my heart I went to the Yankee Fireplace on Sunday. I had read the less than satisfactory reviews, but couldn't find what I needed anywhere else nearby. I was greeted as I came in the door by a very friendly gentleman who showed me exactly what I was looking for, processed my sale and took it to my car. I was taken care of in less than 20 minutes. I believe they are under new ownership, because I'd heartily recommend this place to anyone.

If you have money and want a good fireplace or grill, then this is your store. My wife and I were just interested in finding some fireplace tools, and left the store empty handed. Since we weren't interested in buying a hearth or grill, we were completely ignored by the sales staff, but the other shoppers appeared happy enough.
