good guys. i have yet to meet woody; but, the two times i've been there, the guys have been helpful. they had an odd italian threaded BB in stock when no one else (in the big shops in boston and cambridge didn't). pretty cool. very pleased. and, if you're into vintage, they've got a bunch of nice old italian SL and 531 bikes on the wall. nice place.

John Stanwood and his three mechanics have 120 years of combined experience. They have no agenda to sell you anything, just expertise, friendliness, integrity, and superb service and support policies. Their selection, though not all in-house like a big store, addresses every level of interest and expertise from the hobbyist to the fanatic. This is the kind of place that gets the repairs from the discount and move-the-inventory stores where the staff don't know what they're doing. It is worth going 20 miles out of your way to visit Woody's. You feel as though you WANT to give a store like this your business. Believe me, you will not be disappointed.

I just found this shop through a workshop they held for my bike club. I love this place! The owner is a former racer and knows cycling very well. He and his staff are very smart guys with former professional careers. They are in the bike business because it is their passion.

One of the best stocked stores in the area and the prices are the best in the area.

Great shop, dealt with my headache of an issue regarding a stuck Campy crank arm. Managed to get Campy to replace my part cheaply, even though the cracks were out of warranty. Cool guys, great shop.

Great shop. Staff and owner are enthusiastic and knowledgeable without being in any way condescending. Woody's was recommended to me by my local shop because the guys at Woody's are "master wheel builders," and are great with vintage bikes. John, the owner set me up with a great New Old Stock Mavic rim and a very nice XT hub. My old school, 90's mountain bike is back on the trail with period correct parts, and a well built, strong wheel. Could not be happier with the service or the price. I recommend this shop and I will be back soon!
